Through her graduate training, Christina worked in a variety of clinical settings across the lifespan, including a skilled nursing facility, elementary school, and a hospital outpatient clinic. Through her clinical settings, she was able to gain experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonology disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Christina has special interests in early language development and childhood apraxia of speech.
Christina enjoys being a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist because of the opportunity to help children find their voices and reach their full potential. Christina's positivity, patience, and creativity are all characteristics that are apparent when working with children. She believes that each therapy session should be individualized, positive, and fun for the child. While not at work, Christina enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and getting the opportunity to try new restaurants.
