Amanda Dick, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Amanda recently joined Access to Better Communication’s team January 2025. Originally from Texas, she moved to Louisiana to complete her education. Amanda earned a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Louisiana State University in 2023 and currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has experience working with children while completing clinical training in various locations including Launch, The Emerge Center, LSU Clinic, and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. She gained experience in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, articulation, expressive and receptive language delays, and reading difficulties. Amanda has special interests in the areas of literacy and expressive/receptive language delays. She completed her clinical fellowship at an adult outpatient and gained experience in treating a variety of language, motor speech, swallowing, and cognitive disorders in the adult population. Amanda is eager to return to pediatrics and hopes to create a fun learning environment for children.

 

When not busy at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as exploring Louisiana and trying new restaurants with her boyfriend.
